Reduces Friction, Heat and Wear
In high heat conditions, engine protection is not sacrificed with AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil. AMSOIL 10W-30 keeps engines running cool by effectively reducing friction and heat, and it contains a heavy treatment of anti-wear additives to reduce wear regardless of the operating conditions (see Four-Ball Wear Test graph below). AMSOIL MCT is thermally (heat) stable and contains maximum levels of oxidation inhibitor additives. Provides Extreme Pressure Quality Protection for Gears
With AMSOIL MCT, there is no need for separate transmission lubricants. It is shear stable and will not thin out from mechanical activity. AMSOIL MCT performs like a gear lube without the negative effects of extreme pressure additives, such as poor wet-clutch performance.

Delivers Superior Rust and Corrosion Protection
Motorcycles are prone to rust from storage, humidity and short drives. Rust can cause major damage such as uncontrolled wear, compression loss and blow-by. Good rust protection, however, comes by design and is not natural to engine oils. Unlike many motorcycle oils, AMSOIL MCT contains special anti-rust agents that deliver superior rust protection. APPLICATIONS
AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-30 Motorcycle Oil is recommended for liquid- or air-cooled 4-stroke motorcycles, scooters, ATVs and UTVs requiring an SAE 10W-30 fluid. It meets SAE 80, API GL-1 gear oil requirements and is recommended for transmissions on both 4- and 2-stroke motorcycles. AMSOIL MCT is recommended for Honda®, Yamaha®, Suzuki® and Kawasaki® motorcycles and scooters, as well as Arctic Cat®, Can-Am®, Honda®, Kawasaki® and Suzuki® ATVs and UTVs. Not recommended where an API GL-4 or GL-5 gear oil is required.

MIXING AMSOIL
AMSOIL Synthetic 10W-30 Motorcycle Oil is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils; however, mixing oils may shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for use with AMSOIL motorcycle oil.

SERVICE LIFE
Recommended for use up to twice the motorcycle manufacturer change interval (miles/hours) or one year, whichever comes first, in engines and transmissions. When using an engine filter other than AMSOIL Ea, change the filter at standard intervals.

For “off road” use, change AMSOIL MCT at motorcycle manufacturer intervals.

Racing or modified engines are excluded from extended drain interval recommendations. Oil changes
are at the owner’s discretion.

Improves Compressor Efficiency
AMSOIL PC Synthetic Compressor Oils have low friction properties and they resist viscosity increase from oxidation. They help improve operating efficiency and save money on electrical energy consumption.

Controls Foam and Reduces Wear
AMSOIL PC Compressor Oils contain anti-foam additives and, unlike other compressor oils, they are anti-wear fortified. Good foam control reduces heat, oxidation and wear. High contact regions are protected against wear for increased compressor life and efficiency.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION
The appropriate viscosity of AMSOIL PC Series Synthetic Compressor Oil is recommended for use in single and multistage rotary screw, vane, centrifugal and reciprocating compressor crankcase and cylinders, vacuum pumps and other applications such as gears, bearings, blowers, pumps and handheld pneumatic tools. In compressor applications, drain intervals of 8,000 hours or more can be expected under normal operation. Drain intervals are subject to operating conditions and maintenance practices. Monitoring by oil analysis is recommended. For best performance, AMSOIL recommends the compressor be drained prior to the installation of PC Synthetic Compressor Oil. If carbon deposits are present on the internal components, it is recommended they be removed following the compressor manufacturer recommendations.

Untreated Fuel Leads to Poor Engine Performance
A vehicle demonstrates its best efficiency and engine performance when it is new. As the engine ages, its performance suffers from gasoline fuel-generated deposits that form on the fuel injectors, intake valves and combustion chamber. Additives are required to control deposit formation.

Today’s fuels, however, lack sufficient treatments of either enough additives or high quality additives. Fuel system deposits result in the following:

• Lost fuel economy
• Lost power and poor throttle response
• Failed emission tests
• Poor drivability - surging, hesitation, stalling, rough idle
• Engine knocking (pinging) and rap
• Difficult starts

Unsurpassed Deposit Clean-up
Port Fuel Injector Deposits form after the engine has been shut down and there is no gasoline flowing through the injectors. During this “hot soak” period the injectors heat up and the gasoline remaining in the injectors degrades and forms deposits. This can happen very quickly with the use of poor quality gasoline and short trip driving. Because the clearances within the injectors are extremely tight and injectors must deliver precise amounts of “atomized” fuel, even small amounts of deposits can cause injectors to malfunction. Fuel flow is reduced and spray patterns are disrupted, decreasing engine efficiency, power and fuel economy, while increasing exhaust emissions.

Intake Valve Deposits form on the intake side or back side of the valves. As deposits increase, they restrict airflow and alter airflow patterns in the cylinder. The deposits disrupt the balanced air/fuel ratio by momentarily absorbing and releasing fuel, and they can cause valve sticking by getting in the way of the valve stem and guide. Deposits also restrict proper seating, and the valves may be burned. Intake valve deposits cause lost engine power, increased emissions, poor engine efficiency and potential valve failure.

Combustion Chamber Deposits form on the top of the pistons and on the cylinder heads. They increase compression and absorb heat during combustion to later release it during the intake cycle. In some engines with tight squish domes, combustion chamber deposits cause the piston to actually hit the cylinder head. This is referred to as combustion chamber deposit interference or “carbon rap.” Combustion chamber deposits also flake off as they get large, and these flakes can get trapped between the valves and valve seat, resulting in compression loss, difficult starting and rough idle.

Higher compression and stored heat cause increased intake fresh charge temperatures and the increased likelihood of pre-ignition “knock” or “pinging” when the fuel spontaneously combusts prior to spark ignition. This increases emissions and may cause engine damage. Many of today’s cars have “knock” sensors that adjust spark timing to prevent knock.

Although audible knock is controlled, power is lost from retarded timing. Higher octane fuels of 4-5 octane numbers can be used to help prevent knock, an effect called “octane requirement increase.” As a vehicle ages, more expensive higher octane fuel is needed to keep it operating at peak performance. By cleaning combustion chamber deposits, knock is controlled, power is restored, fuel economy increases and higher octane fuels are less necessary for peak performance.

Recommendations
Treat one full tank of gas up to 20 gallons with one bottle of P.i. For very large gas tanks, partially fill to 40 gallons and treat with two bottles of P.i. Using more than two bottles per treatment is not recommended. Treat gas every 4,000 miles or 100 hours of service. P.i. helps pass emission tests by running one tank of treated fuel through the engine prior to testing. Safe for use with catalytic converters, oxygen sensors, oxygenated gas and 10 percent ethanol blended gas. Not recommended for two-cycle engines.

MIXING AMSOIL
AMSOIL AME is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed.

• Normal Service — Up to 25,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.

• Severe Service — Up to 15,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first, or longer based on oil analysis.

Gasoline Engine Service

• In gasoline engines, oil drain intervals may be extended up to two times (2X) the OEM* recommended drain interval (not to exceed 15,000 miles without oil analysis) or one year, whichever comes first.

AMSOIL Ea™ and Donaldson Endurance™ full flow oil filters are designed for extended drain intervals. They stop smaller particles, have less restriction and last longer than regular filters. For best performance, use AMSOIL Ea or Donaldson Endurance oil filters.

AMSOIL Ea By-pass oil filters are specialized for the removal of small, wear-causing dirt particles, thereby extending engine life. AMSOIL encourages using an AMSOIL Ea By-pass filter system for maximum engine and oil life.

COMPATIBILITY
AMSOIL Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil is compatible with conventional and synthetic motor oils. Mixing AMSOIL motor oils with other oils, however, will shorten the oil life expectancy and reduce the performance benefits. AMSOIL does not support extended drain intervals where oils have been mixed. Aftermarket oil additives are not recommended for
use with AMSOIL motor oils.

SERVICE LIFE
AMSOIL Premium API CJ-4 Synthetic 5W-40 Diesel Oil is recommended for extended drain intervals in engines that are unmodified and in good operating condition.

Diesel Engine Service
• Three times (3X) OEM* recommendation, not to exceed 50,000 miles/600 hours or one year, whichever comes first. Drain intervals may be extended further with oil analysis.

Gasoline Engine Service
• Two times (2X) OEM* recommendation, not to exceed 15,000 miles or one year, whichever comes first.

*Operating conditions and drain intervals for severe and normal service are defined by the OEM. Refer to your owner’s manual.

Note: Extended drain intervals are not recommended when using biofuels containing >10% ethanol or 5% biodiesel (B5). Follow OEM drain intervals or extend drain intervals with oil analysis.

Marine engines operate under high loads and RPMs for extended periods of time, causing traditional automotive oils to break down and lose viscosity. To ensure good protection, the NMMA set minimum shear stability requirements for FC-W. It compensates for the variances in quality of different fuels (including biodiesel) and the deficiencies of today’s Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel fuel (ULSD) for better engine operation. Improves Fuel Economy and Restores Horsepower
As diesel engines are used, they become less efficient over time. Fuel injector deposits interrupt spray patterns, causing poor fuel atomization, incomplete combustion, excessive emissions and smoke. Tests prove that AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate cleans dirty injectors, improving fuel economy by up to five percent and restoring horsepower to like new. Acceleration is improved and with regular use, AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate continues to enhance performance by keeping injectors clean. Reduces Cylinder Wear, Retains Engine Oil TBN Longer
With high rates of exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) in modern diesel engines, acids from combustion are of particular concern. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate neutralizes acids during combustion. It helps reduce acid caused cylinder wear and helps extend engine oil TBN, maintaining engine oil quality longer for better protection.

Minimizes Soot Loading
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate is a powerful cleaner that cleans fuel injectors and piston rings for improved combustion and better sealing. Fuel Stabilizer
Fuel degradation can cause gums, which increase deposits and the chance of filter plugging. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate significantly improves the oxidation and thermal stability of diesel fuel. It overcompensates for ultra low sulfur diesel fuel’s potential stability loss caused by extra processing and sulfur removal. Separates Fuel and Water
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate is an alcohol-free product that protects fuel systems against water contamination. It helps prevent fuel/water emulsions and it protects metal against rust. Water can be drained easier and fuel filters are less likely to plug, ensuring drivability.

Heating Oil Improver
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate provides many of the same benefits in heating oil furnace applications. It provides fuel oil storage stability, water stability, rust protection, fuel oil filter longevity, and its exceptional cleaning properties are expected to keep fuel oil nozzles clean for proper spray in the combustion chamber. AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate promotes trouble-free operation. AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver is recommended where fuel oil is stored outside.

Recommendations
AMSOIL Diesel Concentrate is recommended for use with all types of heavy- and light-duty, on- or off-road and marine diesel engines. Recommended mix ratio is one oz. of additive per five gallons of fuel. Use with every new tank of fuel for the best performance and protection against fuel pump wear, injector wear and injector deposits. Compatible with all types of exhaust emission systems such as diesel particulate filters (DPFs). Add Diesel Concentrate to fuel before storage. Excellent for use with AMSOIL Cetane Boost and AMSOIL Cold Flow Improver. This diesel fuel additive complies with the federal low sulfur content requirements for use in diesel motor vehicles and non-road engines.

Improves Compressor Efficiency
AMSOIL PC Synthetic Compressor Oils have low friction properties and they resist viscosity increase from oxidation. They help improve operating efficiency and save money on electrical energy consumption.

APPLICATION RECOMMENDATION
The appropriate viscosity of AMSOIL PC Series Synthetic Compressor Oil is recommended for use in single and multistage rotary screw, vane, centrifugal and reciprocating compressor crankcase and cylinders, vacuum pumps and other applications such as gears, bearings, blowers, pumps and handheld pneumatic tools. In compressor applications, drain intervals of 8,000 hours or more can be expected under normal operation. Drain intervals are subject to operating conditions and maintenance practices. Monitoring by oil analysis is recommended. For best performance, AMSOIL recommends the compressor be drained prior to the installation of PC Synthetic Compressor Oil. If carbon deposits are present on the internal components, it is recommended they be removed following the compressor manufacturer recommendations.
